Ferenc Fricsay was the resident workhorse at Deutsche Grammophon in the postwar period, cranking out LP after LP with the RIAS-Symphonie Orchester of Berlin. Fricsay's work was of such consistent and outstanding quality that in posterity, his name has attracted a following he never knew in his short life. However, Fricsay is known best for his interpretive skills with the composers of his time -- Béla Bartók, Werner Egk, Karl Amadeus Hartmann, and others. This entry in the French Deutsche Grammophon series Collection du millénaire reintroduces an album that Fricsay recorded of music of the Strauss family in 1961, as unlikely a showpiece for this conductor as one can imagine. However, these are excellent performances. Each piece is performed scrupulously intact, with Geschichten aus der Wienerwald running over 13 minutes and including both zither solos. Fricsay is a little slower than the norm with Johann Strauss II, although his Trisch-Trasch Polka is quite exciting, and all of these performances have the benefit of faultlessly clear orchestral detail. This non-lush Strauss emphasizes musical content over the storied grandeur of the genre of the Viennese waltz, and for that reason, it might not be to all tastes. However, for listeners who are deep into the music of Johann Strauss and his family, Fricsay's recording may prove a refreshing change from the norm owing to its clarity of texture, careful pacing, and attention to musical detail. All of the titles and program notes are in French, however.

Small town girl Julia becomes a high fashion model. Young and inexperienced, she quickly discovers that a model's life is not always as beautiful and perfect as their pictures in the magazines.

Julka (Karolina Gorczyca) mieszka w małej nadbałtyckiej miejscowości i szczerze nienawidzi codziennych obowiązków, która polegają głównie na smażeniu ryb dla wczasowiczów. Marzy o studiach artystycznych w wielkim mieście. Niestety, zawód miłosny sprawia, że oblewa egzamin, ale przyrzeka sobie, że nie wróci w rodzinne strony, tylko spróbuje jakoś sobie poradzić w Warszawie. Znajoma rodziców, pani Marta (Barbara Brylska), wynajmuje jej pokój, a przypadkowe spotkanie w salonie fryzjerskim pani Marty owocuje nieoczekiwaną ofertą pracy – Julka dostaje propozycję dołączenia do zespołu modelek prestiżowej warszawskiej agencji. W ten sposób młoda i niedoświadczona dziewczyna wkracza w wielki świat mody, który nie zawsze jest tak piękny i idealny jak na zdjęciach w kolorowych magazynach. Czy Julka będzie umiała pogodzić karierę modelki z rodzącym się uczuciem do trochę cynicznego fotografa Kacpra (Marcin Dorociński)? 　　少女的母亲近来沉迷于教会活动中，对女儿失踪一事束手无策的她终日寄希望于祈祷中，与原本在首尔念大学的熙真（南相美饰）为寻找妹妹急忙返回了家中，母亲减少了前往教会祈祷的次数。刑警泰焕（柳承龙饰）在接到母女俩的报案后只把此事当作是一般的叛逆少女离家出走案件。

　　妹妹能听到神灵的声音？

　　一女人从屋顶上堕下，莫名地死去了，更离奇的是，她的遗书并不完整。从公寓的警卫和居民处听到妹妹是被神灵附体的孩子，熙真和泰焕陷入了惘然的混乱中。死了的女人和妈妈参加的是同一个教会，第二天，警卫的尸体也被人发现了。尽管眼见了一连串奇怪死亡似乎都与自己所在的教会有关联，妈妈还是保持沉默如常参加教会的祈祷仪式。

　　妹妹的行踪变得越来越扑朔，熙真逐渐走进了迷宫一样，时常会在梦中看到死人。

　　首部邪教题材的韩国恐怖片

　　影片描述南相美饰演的女主人公寻找被神灵“上身”的失踪妹妹的途中遭遇的一系列恐怖事件。影片是韩国首部以邪教和民间传统巫术为题材的惊悚电影，导演李勇周曾任《杀人回忆》的助理监督，有着打造恐怖效应的良好经验，剧本也是由其亲自创作完成。“有一半脸是看不见的少女……你相信吗？”《不信地狱》的海报标语已让人感到几分冷飕飕的寒意，加之饰演失踪女孩的沈恩京面无“生色”的逼真表情和伸向的无数只“心怀不轨”的手，都令观众对故事产生好奇。

　　从在首尔的祥明大学校园拍摄第一个场景开始，《不信地狱》剧组历经始兴、利川、浦项、坡川和仁川等地，原先定的片名《悲鸣》经李勇周再三斟酌，最终改为 “不信地狱</U>”更贴切本片批判邪教组织的主题：神灵的存在反应了人类的种种不能见光的丑陋欲望，有记者问导演如果要给影片的情绪定个关键词，他脱口而出是：不安。

　　甜美南相美　向“恐怖女王”头衔发起冲击

　　女主角南相美曾作为配角出演过恐怖片《灵》，《不信地狱》是其真正意义上担纲主演的第一部惊悚电影，也是她继《强力三班》后时隔四年重返大银幕。《灵》中大家关注的焦点是金荷娜和姜惠贞锋芒毕露的对手戏，没人在意到角落一旁的南相美，经过《甜蜜间谍》、《不良家族》和《食客》等热门剧集的磨练，她表示接到剧组出演邀约时就很兴奋，希望能呈现一个不一样的南相美“吓倒”观众。

　　南相美表示在看到剧本时就对角色很钟情，片里扮演的熙真在寻找消息未明的妹妹的下落时，慢慢发现妹妹有着不为人知的很神秘的一面，同时不由自主地陷入到迷茫的恐怖境地。

　　片里南相美为找到妹妹的下落吃尽了苦头，戏外的她也是拼命得负伤累累：由于剧组繁忙的拍摄日程，她先是因劳累过度进医院输了四天点滴，接着在地下铁拍摄外景时伤到脚踝，然后在拍摄楼梯追击戏时令腰部严重挫伤，至杀青当天都是缠着厚厚的绷带。

　　电影故事发生在冬天，而剧组在2009年3月开镜，拍最后的场景时已经是夏日热度侵蚀的6月，南相美众演员顶着高温穿上厚重的毛大衣，剧组为了把巨大沉重的拍摄器材搬到13楼的屋顶也费了好一番力气。腰部的伤还未痊愈的南相美和工作人员一起顶着强风拍摄，亲力亲为完成了危险动作场面，她的“吃苦耐劳”与弱质纤纤的外表不成正比也成为一时的美谈，面对接踵不断的拍摄风波，不仅没有一句怨言，还以阳光的好心情鼓励身边的人一起越过难关。
